Started out partly as a fun, lighthearted concept, the name "Angry Mom" carries a deeper philosophy that defines our heavy sound. It represents a mother speaking in a loud, high-pitched, and fierce tone—roaring through the frequencies—yet deep down, she is always giving something meaningful, nurturing, and full of love to her children.

We are a collective of friends who simply love Jamaican culture and its music. From the foundational era of Ska down to all of its descendants, we enjoy it all. This is exactly how we deliver our sound: aggressive, heavy, and unapologetically loud, but filled with positive vibrations and a solid musical selection for the community. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, we are here to keep the sound system culture moving forward.
