SunDub @ The Bondi Bowlo

Sundub is a monthly Sunday afternoon session from 2pm to 5pm profiling a particular artist or genre of music which includes the end to end playing of a classic vinyl album that best represents them.

The music is played on a unique Sound System built from recycled vintage hifi equipment with contemporary DJ mixing technology which combines the analogue and digital world and delivers a bass heavy audiophile listening experience.

The first session will celebrate the 77th anniversary of Bob Marley’s birth on Feb 6th 1945, who was the first Jamaican artist to achieve international superstardom and in doing so, brought Reggae music to the world. This session will also recognise the contribution of all the members of the Wailers, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer and Aston “Family Man” Barrett and of course the producer and artist, Lee Scratch Perry
