Gonja HiFi

Meet Gonja HiFi. We’re a Bangkok-born collective on a mission to bring the deep, healing frequencies of Dub, Steppers, and Reggae to the heart of Thailand.

Our name is rooted in Thai lore: the Gonja is a majestic black cat with piercing yellow eyes, revered as a "Guardian against evil." Like our namesake, we aim to ward off spirits and absorb negative energy through the power of the bass.

At the controls, you’ll find our crew of five selectors: Kingkong Killa, Sista Zine, Sticky Keys, Yellaskysound and JanUp. We live for the session, whether we’re hosting "Bangkok Dub Attack," "Run Tings," or "Mash up di Place”,...

Our journey was started by our founder, Master Bimjo (Million Cat HiFi), who continues to support us while running the "SubCamp" and "DubCanyon" festivals where we co-host. We’re proud to grow Thailand's sound system culture alongside our family—including Muangake Soundsystem, 46000 Bwoy Soundsystem, and a massive network of local creators.
