Red Echoes Sound System

Red Echoes Sound System was born in Grasse from the musical bond of three friends: Arthur, Gaël, and Naël. Rooted in UK dub tradition and inspired by pioneers like Jah Shaka, The Disciples, and Bush Chemists, their sound blends heavy stepper rhythms with spiritual, meditative, and militant vibrations. Since 2019, they’ve built their own handcrafted red sound system to make the music resonate deep into the body, with their first official session in 2020 marking the crew’s true beginning. Beyond dub, Red Echoes explores collaborations across genres, from Balearic house with Paradise Transmission to side projects in indie rock, cold wave, and atmospheric music under the names Art Marcelino and Nigel. Anchored in dub yet driven by curiosity, Red Echoes is a living, evolving force dedicated to spreading powerful echoes of sound and consciousness.
